haha yes, you’re doing it right.

I’ll keep an eye out for what you said. Those drawings were my first experiments with that style actually, so there’s bound to be mistakes. I’ll keep pushing it.

Anyways, Im gonna get started on a storyboard for that first idea. I’ll use a placeholder for your character for now, but I want to get this out of the way. Once you’re done your design, post that, then get started on a storyboard.

ok well i took a look at your character.. looks cool, but remember as cool as it is to have a nice style incorporated, watch out cuz the structure gets lost in some areas, and if that happens its kind of hard to re draw the character.. (like the hting with his knee) but it looks cool and i can think of a direction for it.. i was also thinking about the lip synicng thing lol.. and i had a whole other idea.. lol but i dont wanna complicate things anymore.. so yeah picking up chick through a window sounds good lol.. just gota figure out how to make it funny

my other idea was a big army guy with a bazooka or something chasing like a little kitten and trying to blow it up or soemthing. but i used to do alot of drugs..

cool man keep pushin that character a little more but keep in mind structure, and then ill chekc it out and we can go form there!

I’m thinking I’ll be taking my character in this direction. I’ve been studying how Cheeks does his character designs, and im trying to apply it to my designs. I actually kind of like this approach, the simplified angles and shapes feel right.

Anyways, here’s a page of sketches. If you want to bring it into a different style, go right ahead

So, i do like the idea of that phone conversation thing, but that does require doing lip-synching, which could be very difficult. I have enough of an idea how to do it for maybe a little bit of it in the animation, but not so much that I’d want to do the whole thing around it.

So, I think we should try something else for the first one. I have a sort of interesting idea revolving around your pick-up of that chick through the window. No need for lipsycnching at all. Only challenge is that we need to design the chick as well.

What I think we should do, once we have the characters set, we’ll each set out to storyboard our own 15 story. We’ll skip the whole script process. After we’re done that, we can pick whichever works best, refine it a bit, and go from there to the layout and animation. Think that’ll work?
